Making the Most of Medina

The Medina branch is dedicated to providing Phoenix programs to Medina County, in addition to childcare programs and summer day camp.

Welcome!

The Medina branch of the Akron Area YMCA is primarily dedicated to providing Phoenix programs to Medina County, but also programs child care and summer day camp.

The Phoenix school is a fully accredited behavior modification school designed to serve as a coeducational alternative for adolescents ages 12-18 who are involved with the court system and/or have academic or behavioral problems. All credits earned while attending Phoenix will transfer to the student’s home school.
